Hi guys,

I wonder if someone can help? I have a rolling 70s 1300 beetle shell which i intend to turn into a trailer to tow behind my beetle. I know this has been done before but does anyone know how I get around removing the gear box, deal with the drive shafts and keep the wheels turning independantly? Can I just remove the gear box and fix the drive shafts to the floor pan or do they have to be joined? I may be asking a daft question!! But if anyone can let me know if this can be done that would be great.
